In this role you will be involved in strategic planning through implementation and will identify and secure the needed resources to improve customer service, manufacturing costs, process improvements, new product development and Supply Chain Excellence. This position also establishes relationships with customers, to enhance services and win business, and with suppliers, to ensure competitive market positions and quality compliance. The ideal candidate must enjoy the challenge of setting goals and objectives for teams and working to position the company ahead of the competition and ensure use of up-to-date technology and manufacturing practices that use the full range of LEAN methodologies. Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor?s degree with a technical or business focus (Master?s degree with a business focus preferred) with 8 years of plant management experience in a manufacturing environment (working knowledge of casting, drawing and the metals fabrication industry is a plus). Must have experience implementing Lean/6 Sigma manufacturing programs. We are seeking individuals with strong customer service skills and the ability to multi-task effectively. Strong computer proficiency in MS Office is needed and prior work with Lotus Notes or Outlook, a CRM or SAP is preferred. Must be willing and able to travel 5-10% of the time and be a self-directed, efficient, team-player with the ability to speak effectively to customers.? Demonstrated success in building and implementing a corporate strategy supporting top-line revenue growth in a fiscally responsible manner.? Experience using and implementing SAP as well as proficiency in MS Office ? Word, Excel, PowerPoint.? Ability to create and present reports and information to a variety of audiences effectively.? Experience providing detailed statistical analysis using 6 Sigma Tools and the ability to design and execute DOE, Measurement Analysis and FMEA?s.?
