This role develops manufacturing standards, ensures correct work procedures and work instructions are in place and followed. You will drive reduction in scrap and rework and work closely with Quality to identify and correct quality issues. You will also plan and execute engineering projects for new processes. If you have excellent process trouble shooting skills, committed to safety, and have a manufacturing background, this job is for you! Qualified candidates should have a BS degree in an Engineering discipline PLUS a minimum of 2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment. We are seeking individuals with the ability to interpret drawing and specification requirements and translate them into manufacturing processes. Must have strong MS Office skills, with top notch skills in Solid Works/AutoCad, SAP and Mini-Tab. Six Sigma experience at the Green Belt level and proficiency with Lean Tools and using 5S is also preferred.
